Lately I’ve been feeling really down about Billy, hardly able to remain hopeful that he will be found. Sometimes other people seem to pick up on your feelings and say negative things to make you feel even worse. Not sure why people do this, but they do.
Yesterday I my work colleague taunted me about disliking cats when I mentioned giving money to a cat rescue. She then went on to talk about cats being shot somewhere if owners don’t claim them. Then another friend told me that a man told her (after seeing Billy’s poster) that he’d definitely shot Billy when he was in his garden. Apparently he thought this was funny.
I felt very down yesterday especially after hearing these things.
